For a few years, the Beastie Boys have been stating that they were working on a history of the band. Today, they released details about the book. It is simply called Beastie Boys Book and will be out October 30. It's almost 600 pages and is out via Spiegel & Grau. In addition to the band's history, the book also includes rare photos, original illustrations, a cookbook by chef Roy Choi, a graphic novel, a map of Beastie Boys’ New York, mixtape playlists, and pieces by guest contributors.
